Mac OS X Spaces Configuration Tips

So when Spaces was released with Mac Os X Leopard 10.5 quickly became my most used feature. Mac OS X Spaces comes with 4 spaces default but lets go farther than default and go all out. Below is a pic of my 12 spaces.

So now lets go into system preferences and get to know the prefs of Spaces.

Right off the bat we see two options to either "Enable Spaces" and "Show spaces in Menu Bar".


So basically turn on Spaces and put a menu bar docklet for you to change spaces from the menu bar.

Next, We are down to the area where we can add or subtract spaces. Just click either the plus or minus signs to add more spaces.

Now here is where stuff gets good. You can make any given Application to open in any given space without having to push it over to the space. Just click the plus sign, choose the application, and choose which space you would like to make the app open in.
Other than that you have the option to change which buttons to activate spaces.
